G.703 Recommendations.
- Transmit level: 2.2 volts nominal 2.37 volts max 60% duty cycle. 1mW
into 75ohm RG59 coax. Units should be operated in master/slave pairs
selected by front panel switches.
- G.703 I/F connection: via a pair of BNC sockets on rear of unit. These
terminations are matched for 75 ohm coaxial cable and are isolated from
each other. By request an RJ45 connector will be provided for 120 ohm
twisted pair cable connection.
- DTE I/F connection Via 15-Way D type socket on rear of unit. Internal
or external clocking. X.21 single clock or split clocks for V.36/RS422/RS449.
- Recessed front panel switches give easy set up of user configuration
plus a comprehensive range of test modes to ease and verify installation,
without external test equipment.
